Three new Calls opened for access to research infrastructures
The European Commission's Joint Research Center (JRC) has launched three new Calls the framework for open access to its research infrastructures:
- With applications open until May 14, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (CEST), the Calls – European-laboratory-structural-assessment-reaction-wall – reference 2024-1-TCB-ELSA-ReactionWall and ELSA – European-laboratory-structural-assessment-large-hopkinson-bar-facility – reference 2024-1-TCB-ELSA-HOPLAB, will both take place at the European Structural Assessment Laboratory in Ispra (Italy);
- With applications open until May 21, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (CEST), Call Nanobiotechnology-laboratory_en – reference 2024-1-TCB-NANOBIOTECH, will take place at the Nanobiotechnology Laboratory in Ispra (Italy).
The European Laboratory for Structural Assessment (ELSA) offers training and capacity building in two laboratories, with the largest Hopkinson bar facility in the world and the largest Reaction Wall in Europe. The JRC's Nanobiotechnology Laboratory has state-of-the-art facilities for interdisciplinary studies, with an emphasis on the characterization of nanomaterials, nanomedicines, advanced materials, and micro(nano)plastics.
General information on JRC open access activities can be found in the JRC Research Infrastructures Brochure.
The FCT is responsible for disseminating news and opportunities related to the JRC.
