Opening of Call of the European Partnership "Chips Joint Undertaking"

The conditions for national co-financing by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) relating to Calls and Innovation (R&I) Calls the ECS (Electronic Components and Systems) component of the 2025 Work Program of the European Chips Joint Undertaking Partnership have been published.

Calls 2025 Calls the ECS component may receive national co-financing from the FCT of up to €3.5 million. This Call for national beneficiaries who coordinate or are partners in an international Chips JU consortium, namely non-business entities in the R&I system (ENESII) and companies.

Applications must be submitted in two phases: by April 29 (first phase) and by September 17, 2025 (second phase).

National co-financing of these activities falls under the National Strategy for Semiconductors, to be implemented by FCT and the National Innovation Agency.
