IAEA Opens Applications for Participation in a Workshop on Radiological Examinations

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has issued a call for applications to participate in the “Regional Workshop on Strengthening Implementation of Justification and Appropriateness Criteria in Radiological Examinations,” which will take place December 7–11, 2026, in Zagreb, Croatia.

Organized as part of the technical cooperation project RER9165 – Enhancing Radiation Protection and Safety in Medical Exposure, the workshop is designed to strengthen the implementation of the principles of justification and the criteria for appropriateness in the performance of radiological examinations, thereby contributing to the improvement of radiation protection and safety in medical exposure.

Applications must be submitted through the IAEA’s Department of Technical Cooperation’s InTouch+ platform, using event number EVT2602494.

The deadline for submissions on the platform is September 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Lisbon time.
