Arquivo.pt honored in the 2024 edition of the Navegantes XXI Awards
Arquivo.pt, a digital service from FCT developed through FCCN, was one of the winners of the 2024 edition of the Navegantes XXI Awards. This is an initiative of ACEPI – Associação da Economia Digital (Digital Economy Association), created with the mission of promoting and developing the digital economy in Portugal in a wide range of areas.
Traveling through time, searching and accessing web pages archived since 1996 that are no longer available: this is the motto of Arquivo.pt, which was one of the projects recognized in this edition of the Navegantes XXI Awards, among all the Call 20 categories.
At the awards ceremony held on October 24 at theTécnico Innovation Centerin Lisbon, FCT's digital service won the award in the category of "Best Central Public Administration Project," standing out among the variousprojects/sites/apps that were launched, are functional, or are available in Portugal between June 2023 and June 2024. This category annually recognizes a project that has contributed "unequivocally to the development of the Central Public Sector through digital media, as well as the Digital Economy in Portugal," according to the initiative's website.
The Navegantes XXI Awards annually recognize the most innovative and transformative Portuguese projects, ideas, and institutions in the Digital Economy and Society in Portugal. Three Special Category Awards (outside the Call) are also presented.
