Applications for Studentships International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Marie Skłodowska-Curie Studentships are open until September 30, 2024. This program aims to encourage young women to pursue a career in the nuclear field.

Female students can apply for Studentships for the academic years 2024/2025 and 2025/2026. Successful applicants will receive a Studentship for master's programs in nuclear-related studies at accredited universities. They will also have the opportunity to undertake an IAEA internship for a maximum period of 12 months.

The IAEA's Marie Skłodowska-Curie Studentships program aims to stimulate and ensure the growth of the number of women wishing to pursue advanced studies in nuclear-related fields, supporting an inclusive workforce of men and women who contribute to and drive global scientific and technological innovation. Over its four years of existence, this program has supported 560 female students, representing 121 Member States and studying in 72 countries around the world.

Portugal has been a member of the IAEA since 1957, and the FCT promotes the participation of the national scientific and technological community in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Studentships Program.
