Applications for Call R&D Projects in all scientific fields will take place in November

FCT is committed to increasing the budget available for the Call R&D Projects in all scientific fields in 2023. It is therefore establishing synergies with PT2030 in order to allocate at least €100 million to finance this project support program, representing a 33% increase over Calls .

Obtaining this funding requires coordination between the FCT project regulations and the PT2030 regulations, which are currently being prepared. As a result, the FCT has decided to postpone the submission of applications for Call 2023 Call R&D Projects in all scientific fields until November 1-30. This postponement will also ensure the adoption of simplified costs, which will result in greater efficiency in the management of researchers' time.

In reaching this decision, various representative bodies from the scientific community were consulted, to whom the FCT extends its gratitude.
