Call for contributions: European Science Diplomacy

The European Commission has launched a call for expressions of interest to participate in five working groups on Science Diplomacy, aimed at developing the foundations for a European framework on this topic.

The main objective of establishing these groups is to create a network of relevant actors in an innovative format and to develop recommendations through a co-creation process. Each informal working group should be composed of around 20 members (ideally drawn equally from both the scientific community and the diplomatic sphere), who should participate in a personal capacity and not as representatives of their respective affiliated institutions.

Participation in the working groups is unpaid, and it is expected that a meeting will take place every 6-8 weeks between November 2023 and June 2024. The deadline for this call is October 31, 2023.
