Following an initial public consultation on the legislative act dedicated to the European Research Area, for which the deadline has now passed, the European Commission is inviting new contributions to be submitted by January 5, 2026.
This call is intended to gather participation and general data on the problems facing the development and full realization of the European Research Area, together with stakeholders' views on viable solutions that could be supported by legislation at EU level.
The consultation is aimed at national and regional administrations and research and innovation communities, including higher education institutions, research organizations, private sector companies, including SMEs, technology centers, research and technology infrastructures, scientific advisory and technology assessment structures and organizations, scientific publishers, and also the general public.
