Call from the Clean Energy Transition Partnership supports transnational research and innovation projects

Globe on a green background with renewable energies represented

The European co-financed Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETP) is launching the third edition of Call funding for transnational research and innovation projects. Pre-proposals may be submitted from 9:00 a.m. (mainland Portugal time) on September 19 until 1:00 p.m. on November 21, 2024.

The Call research and/or innovation projects promoted by transnational consortia around the seven CETP Transition Initiatives (TRIs): TRI1 – Integrated net-zero-emissions energy system; TRI2 – Enhanced zero-emission power technologies; TRI 3 – Enabling climate neutrality with storage technologies, renewable fuels, and CCU/CCS; TRI4 – Efficient zero-emission heating and cooling solutions; TRI5 – Integrated regional energy systems; TRI6 – Integrated industrial energy systems; and TRI7 – Integration in the built environment. The 11 topics in Call defined within these seven TRIs.

Created under the umbrella of Horizon Europe, CETP aims to accelerate the transition to clean energy and contribute to the goal of climate neutrality by 2050 by bringing together national and regional funding for Research, Technological Development, and Innovation (RTDI) for a wide range of technologies and system solutions necessary for this transition.

On September 12, an online information session will be held to discuss the essential elements of this Call, such as the topics to be supported by the various funding organizations, key dates, documents, and more.
