Call CaixaImpulse Innovation in Health

The application period for the 2025 edition of the CaixaImpulse Health Innovation Program of the ”la Caixa” Foundation is open until February 20, 2025.

This Call to transfer research results from the laboratory to patients by supporting projects of excellence promoted by research centers, hospitals, and universities.

Legal entities from the public or non-profit sector based in Spain or Portugal may apply, including universities, university foundations, research and transfer centers, technology centers, hospitals, hospital foundations, and non-profit institutions whose main activity is biomedical research.

The ”la Caixa” Foundation has scheduled an information session on this Call January 23, 2025 (11:00 a.m. CET), and registration is available here.

The CaixaImpulse Innovation in Health Program was created in 2015 by the ”la Caixa” Foundation. Since then, €24.7 million has been awarded and 231 projects have been supported, leading to the creation of 44 spin-offs and the subsequent obtaining of additional co-financing, through other Calls private investors, worth more than €100 million. Since joining this program in 2022, FCT has directly supported four projects led by national institutions, with around €218,000.
