Call Papers on Neuroscience Award 2023

Applications are now open forthe Call Excellent Paper on Neuroscience Award 2023 (EPNA 2023), which aims to recognize outstanding and exceptional scientific publications in the field of translational neuroscience related to diseases. The initiative is aimed at early-career researchers from 24 eligible countries, including Portugal.

This year, the award focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders, which can involve significant difficulties in specific intellectual, motor, or social functions.

The first authors of original research articles published between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, and affiliated with eligible countries are eligible to apply. The best proposal will receive a prize of €3,000. The winner will be invited to participate as an "Excellent Paper in Neuroscience" speaker at the Forum of European Neuroscience 2024. ERA-NET NEURON will cover the prize and travel expenses associated with participation in the event.

FCT coordinates national participation in this instrument.
