Conference Critical Raw Materials in the Age of Climate Transition

The conference "Critical Raw Materials in the Age of Climate Transition" will take place on October 25, in Aljustrel, at the Mining Park Reception and Welcome Center, starting at 9:30 a.m. Its main objective is to create an informed discussion on the processes of sourcing critical raw materials and to raise awareness of their strategic importance, from processing to recycling products and materials.

FCT collaborator Dina Carrilho will moderate the session on the "Proposed European Law on Critical Raw Materials," which will feature Aurela Sthiza from IMA Europe, Industrial Minerals Association, as keynote speaker.

This event is jointly organized by the Mining Development Company (EDM), the Energy Agency (ADENE), the National Energy and Geology Laboratory (LNEG), and the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), with the support of the Aljustrel Municipal Council and Almina.
