AGORA Dialogue "Urban Economies"

The AGORA Thematic Dialogue: Circular Urban Economies, organized by the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership and the Directorate-General for Territory (DGT), aims to promote efficient but also regenerative cities, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing waste.

This event will take place on October 23rd, from 9am to 6pm at the Time Out Studio in Lisbon, to debate the role of systems thinking and place-based methodologies/approaches in the design, implementation and evaluation of urban policies and initiatives, as well as in the development of effective and relevant strategies. The AGORA Dialogue is part of the thematic definition process of the DUT's joint transnational Call 2024.

FCT is part of DUT, a European Partnership under the aegis of the EU program for funding research and innovation - Horizon Europe (2021-2027), which aims to address the challenges of urban transition, involving regional, municipal and local communities. One of the main tasks of the DUT Partnership is to design and launch annual calls for research and innovation projects.
