AGORA Dialogue “Circular Urban Economies”
The thematic dialogue NOW: Circular Urban Economies, organized by the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership and the Directorate-General for Territory (DGT), aims to promote cities that are not only efficient but also regenerative, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing waste.
This event will take place on October 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Estúdio Time Out in Lisbon, to discuss the role of systemic thinking and place-based methodologies/approaches in the design, implementation, and evaluation of urban policies and initiatives, as well as in the development of effective and relevant strategies. The AGORA Dialogue is part of the process of defining the theme of Call DUT's joint Call for 2024.
FCT is part of DUT, a European Partnership under the EU's Horizon Europe program (2021-2027) for funding research and innovation, which aims to tackle the challenges of urban transition by involving regional, municipal, and local communities. One of the main tasks of the DUT Partnership is to design and launch annual calls for research and innovation projects.
