The 2022 edition of Call Studentships de Sousa Studentships Call received 42 applications
The application period for Call Maria de Sousa PhD Studentships Call – 2022 SEAGULL – Seeking Epidemiological and Virological Answers ended on September 29, with a total of 42 applications submitted. This Call , aimed at obtaining new knowledge that will enable the creation of skills to respond to virological phenomena, is supported by AICIB (Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation) and aims to award 10 Studentships.
The objectives and areas of knowledge most represented in the applications submitted focus on "Prevention and preparedness strategies for new epidemics of virological origin, including vaccines" (23%), followed by the objectives "Epidemiology and risk factors for infection and severe disease caused by viruses" (15%) and "Development of new therapies and new therapeutic approaches, including life support equipment and personal protective equipment to combat virological diseases" (15%).
