Science Meeting 2023 is already underway at the University of Aveiro

The Science Meeting 2023 kicked off today, July 5, at the University of Aveiro. The event runs until July 7 under the theme "Science and Ocean Beyond the Horizon," focusing on the ocean and waters.

This year, the guest country is Spain, and the event will feature six plenary sessions, 30 parallel sessions, and more than 180 speakers.

The Science Meeting is the largest annual event in the field of science and technology in Portugal, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) in collaboration with the National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture – Ciência Viva and, this year, also with the University of Aveiro. The initiative also has the institutional support of the Minister of Science, Technology, and Higher Education and the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science, Youth, and Sport.
