ERC: 2024 Work Program approved
On July 10, the European Commission adopted the European Research Council (ERC) Work Program for 2024. The plan includes new elements in the evaluation of proposals and candidates' CVs (narrative CV), and in the evaluation process itself. It also introduces the pilot initiative for funding Advanced Grants in a simplified cost format (Lump Sum) and makes changes to the structure of the evaluation panels. The Call Grant, with a deadline for applications of October 24, has been open since July 12. Supporting documentation for the application, including guidelines for applicants and evaluators, is available here. On the Funding and Tenders portal, you can start preparing your application and download all the documents from the Call page, which will give you access to the submission platform and application templates.

The FCT coordinates the promotion and support of the national scientific community's participation in Calls , and has also launched strategic programs to increase participation levels and success rates, namely ERC-Portugal and ERC-PT . To date, researchers working in SNCT institutions have secured around €70 million during the first two years of Calls Europe Calls .
