HY-CO

FCT is a member of the HY-CO network (2004-2008), a project involving 24 European Funding Agencies from 18 countries and 1 region, seeking to identify best practices as a basis for the cooperation needed to implement the European Research Area (ERA).

This project is especially dedicated to promoting transnational cooperation between funding agencies for hydrogen and fuel cell research. While contributing to the European Union strategy, this project will allow funding agencies to share existing activities, compare future strategies and recommendations from advisory bodies to systematically explore opportunities for future collaborations.

As the main mechanism for validating the cooperation effort between the various funding agencies, transnational Calls for research projects is one of the main objectives of ERA-NETs.
