M-ERA-NET3 "ERA-NET for research and innovation in materials and battery technologies, supporting the European Green Pact

M-ERA.NET3 was launched on March 1st 2021 and is due to end on February 28th 2026 within the framework of the ERA-NET COFUND of H2020 and includes 50 public bodies from 36 countries. This diversified and experienced network encompasses national and regional funding programs from 25 EU Member States and 5 Associated States and includes 6 organizations from Third Countries.

M-ERA.NET is a robust network of public funding bodies supporting and promoting the coordination and convergence of national and regional research and innovation funding programs in the area of materials technologies and batteries in support of the European Green Deal. Between 2021 and 2026 the M-ERA.NET consortium will contribute to the restructuring of the European Research Area (ERA) through a unique, innovative and flexible network of funding bodies.

M-ERA.NET will complement existing funding instruments and contribute to European Union policies, while supporting the exploitation of knowledge along the entire innovation chain from fundamental research to applied research and innovation. M-ERA.NET will implement a series of joint Calls to fund excellent innovative transnational RTD cooperation, including a Call for proposals with EU co-funding. These Calls will provide the European RTD community with the opportunity to access funding coordinated across Europe and gain access to world-leading knowledge.
