You can now secure your place at the FCCN 2026 Conference, which will take place from May 5 to 7 at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. The event will once again bring together the national higher education and research community for a three-day gathering promising knowledge sharing, innovation, and networking. Registration is free and can be done through the official website.

The 17th edition of this meeting, organized by FCCN, the digital services unit of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), has the University of Porto as its main partner and will last three days. Throughout the event, participants will attend plenary sessions, technical presentations , and workshops, where they will discuss the latest developments in the digital services that the FCT, through the FCCN, provides in the areas of Connectivity, Computing, Collaboration, Knowledge, and Security. The main technological trends that are currently shaping the present day and their impact and implementation in the Teaching and Research ecosystem will also be highlighted.

In 2026, participants will once again be invited to take the stage to present new projects and success stories from their institutions, as well as to discuss the main trends of the day. The program also includes time for cultural activities, socializing, and networking.

It is also still possible to attend the event as a sponsor, with the opportunity to present products and services and interact with the audience. To ensure representation at the initiative, interested entities must submit their Expression of Interest by February 27. All information is available on the FCCN Conference website.
