Expansion of Open Science under discussion on October 25
FCCN, the digital services arm of the Foundation for Science and Technology, is hosting the webinar " Open Science on the Rise: New Models, Evaluation, and Open Data"on October 25 at 10:00 a.m.
Open Science is scientific activity carried out in an open, collaborative, and transparent manner, facilitating the sharing and communication of processes and results. With the aim of raising awareness and promoting Open Science practices among the community of researchers, science managers, students, and the general public, this online event is part of the International Open Science Week celebrations and will include an assessment of what has been achieved in this field to date, as well as news and some indicators.
The session will also address New Models of Scientific Communication, the Diamond Initiative, and the National Program for Open Science and Open Research Data, a measure integrated into investmentRE-C05-i08 – More Digital Science, financedby the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), as well as the topic of Research Assessment.
Participation in the webinar is free of charge, but registration is required by completing the registration form.
