FCT has updated the value of Studentships

The FCT has updated the value of all Studentships covered by the Studentships Regulations. The decision takes effect from January 1, 2023.

The evolution of the value of the monthly maintenance grants for all Studentships determined annually by the FCT Governing Board, taking into account the evolution of the minimum wage for each year. For 2023, the minimum wage was set at €760, corresponding to an increase of €55 compared to the amount in force in 2022. Thus, at its meeting on January 19, 2023, the FCT Governing Board decided to set the increase in Studentships with the nominal increase in the minimum wage, and also determined its application to all scholarship holders covered by the types of Studentships in previous regulations, whose Studentships still in progress.
