FCT and the Fulbright Commission renew partnership for the awarding of Studentships

The FCT and the Fulbright Commission have renewed their cooperation agreement for the joint awarding of Studentships, enabling not only Portuguese students to attend doctoral programs and carry out research projects at accredited institutions and universities in the United States, but also American researchers to come to Portugal to develop research projects at universities and research centers.

The protocol, which was signed on May 11, 2023, by the Chair of the Fulbright Commission Board of Directors, Penny Rechkemmer, and the Chair of the FCT Board of Directors, Madalena Alves, also includes the awarding of the Fulbright Award in Space, Atmosphere, Ocean, Climate, Energy, and Data Science/ AIR Center to American researchers interested in carrying out projects in these areas of study.
