FCT and CMU Portugal launch 8 dual doctorate programs Studentships
Call is now open for the award of up to 8 Studentships doctoral degrees under the Dual Doctoral Programs initiative of the Carnegie Mellon (CMU) Portugal Program, with funding from FCT. The Studentships will be awarded in the following areas of the CMU Portugal Program: Software Engineering and Societal Computing (applications until February 8), Computer Science and Spoken Language Technologies (applications until February 14), Electrical and Computer Engineering and Engineering and Public Policy (applications until February 28).
Candidates admitted to the Dual Degree Doctoral Programs of the CMU Portugal Program may spend up to two years at CMU and up to three years at a Portuguese university affiliated with the CMU Portugal Program. Upon successful completion of the Doctoral Program, candidates will receive a doctoral degree awarded by CMU and another doctoral degree awarded by the corresponding Portuguese university.
