Since 2006, the internationalization of national scientific and higher education institutions has been promoted, boosting innovative projects and the mobility of highly qualified human resources. These partnerships have fostered new thematic knowledge networks involving more than 1,000 teachers and researchers and more than 1,500 master's and doctoral students. For the 2018-2023 period, the goPORTUGAL initiative reinforces and expands the concept of international partnerships, also launching the Study&Research in Portugal initiative as a single entry portal for students and researchers wishing to pursue their training or careers in Portugal.
