FCT and Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development (FUNDECIT) sign Action Plan 2025

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development (FUNDECIT) of Angola celebrated the signing of the 2025 Action Plan, under the FUNDECIT-FCT Memorandum of Understanding, which highlights the areas of scientific research, technological development, and innovation.

The Action Plan was signed during FUNDECIT's technical visit to FCT from March 24 to 27, 2025, which was led by its Deputy Director-General, Rosa Maurício, and supported by Irene Inakulo Moisés and Bonifácio João. The FUNDECIT delegation was received by the Chair of the FCT Board of Directors, Madalena Alves.

In addition to signing the 2025 Action Plan, working meetings were also held with FCT services, focusing on technical and administrative issues relating to the evaluation processes of R&D Units, as well as the monitoring and management of research projects selected for funding. The joint FUNDECIT-FCT application for the 4th Call for Proposals (CAP4) of the EU-Angola Dialogues program was also finalized.
