FCT obtains certification for Work-Life Balance Management

On June 25, 2025, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and its digital services unit FCCN achieved certification under NP 4552:2022 – Management System for Reconciliation between Personal, Family, and Professional Life, awarded by an accredited and independent entity.

This standard establishes guidelines for any organization, public or private, regardless of its size or sector of activity, to develop and implement consistent policies, objectives, and practices in the area of work-life balance.

This recognition reinforces FCT's commitment to promoting a more balanced and inclusive organizational culture focused on the well-being of its employees. These objectives are an integral part of the +vida.FCT project – Internal Work-Life Balance Management System, which aims to increase job satisfaction and motivation, improve work-life balance, boost productivity, and strengthen FCT's ability to attract and retain qualified talent.

With this recognition, FCT consolidates its role as a benchmark institution in the public sector, promoting management practices aligned with the principles of social responsibility, equality, and valuing people.
