FCT organizes information session on the MSCA Doctoral Networks Call 2025
The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will hold an information session dedicated to theMarie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks Call , which has an application Deadline November 25, 2025. MSCA Doctoral Networks aim to fund consortia of institutions to implement international doctoral programs.
The session will take place exclusively online on June 23, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. (Lisbon time) and is expected to last one hour. Participation requires prior registration.
This information session will cover the following topics: Characteristics and types of MSCA Doctoral Networks; Eligibility conditions; Success rates; Proposal structure; Evaluation criteria and Budget.
The funding raised by Portuguese institutions in this Horizon Europe instrument has been increasing consistently: in 2021 6.61 million euros were raised, in 2022 7.91 million, in 2023 12.09 million and in 2024 13.32 million euros.
FCT is responsible for promoting the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in Portugal, holding regular information sessions and proposal writing workshops. It is also responsible for representing Portugal on the Configuration Committee of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Program at the European Union.
