FCT organizes information session on the Call Doctoral Networks 2025 Call

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will hold an information session dedicated to Call Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks Call , with Deadline applications of November 25, 2025. MSCA Doctoral Networks aim to fund consortia of institutions to implement international doctoral programs.

The session will take place exclusively online on June 23, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m. (Lisbon time), with an estimated duration of one hour. Prior registration is required to participate.

This information session will cover the following topics: Characteristics and types of MSCA Doctoral Networks; Eligibility conditions; Success rates; Proposal structure; Evaluation criteria and Budget.

Funding obtained by Portuguese institutions under this Horizon Europe instrument has been increasing steadily: in 2021 , €6.61 million was obtained, in 2022 €7.91 million, in 2023 €12.09 million, and in 2024 €13.32 million.

The FCT is responsible for promoting Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in Portugal, regularly holding information sessions and proposal writing workshops. It is also responsible for representing Portugal on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Program Configuration Committee, within the European Union.
