FCT organizes information session on Call MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024
FCT will hold an information session dedicated to the Call Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships, which are open until September 11, 2024.
The session will take place exclusively online and only in English (since it is an international financing instrument), on May 20 from 10:00 a.m., and is expected to last one hour. Participation requires prior registration.
The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to fund a postdoctoral project in any area of knowledge, and the application is submitted jointly by the proposing researcher and a host institution. To be eligible, researchers must comply with a mobility rule, i.e. they must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of the host institution for more than 12 months in the three years prior to the closing date of Call. In addition, they must not have completed their doctorate more than eight years before the closing date of Call (there are exceptions for periods that do not count towards this eight-year limit, such as maternity and time away from research).
This information session will cover the following topics: Characteristics and types of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships; Eligibility conditions; Success rate; ERA Fellowships; Proposal structure; Evaluation criteria and Budget.
FCT is responsible for promoting the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in Portugal, holding regular information sessions and proposal writing workshops. It is also responsible for representing Portugal on the Configuration Committee of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Program at the European Union.
