FCT organizes information session on the Call Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 Call

FCT will hold an information session dedicated to Call Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships Call , which is open until September 11, 2024.

The session will take place exclusively online and only in English (since it is an international financing instrument), on May 20, starting at 10:00 a.m., with an expected duration of one hour. Participation requires prior registration.

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to fund a postdoctoral project in any field of knowledge, with the application being submitted jointly by the proposing researcher and a host institution. To be eligible, researchers must comply with a mobility rule, i.e., they must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of the host institution for more than 12 months in the three years prior to the closing date of Call. In addition, they must not have completed their PhD more than eight years prior to the closing date of Call there are exceptions to this eight-year limit, such as maternity leave and time spent away from research).

This information session will cover the following topics: Characteristics and types of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships; Eligibility requirements; Success rate; ERA Fellowships; Proposal structure; Evaluation criteria; and Budget.

The FCT is responsible for promoting Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in Portugal, regularly holding information sessions and proposal writing workshops. It is also responsible for representing Portugal on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Program Configuration Committee, within the European Union.
