FCT organizes Workshop Structuring Policy Recommendations for PRIMA: From Dialogue to Action
On October 28, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) organized the Workshop Structuring Policy Recommendations for PRIMA: From Dialogue to Action, an international event held as part of the FUTURE4PRIMA Coordination and Support Action—a European project in which FCT participates, funded by the Horizon Europe program.
The main objective of this event was to discuss recommendations that will guide the future, post-2028, of the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Region – PRIMA. The initiative provided a space for sharing ideas and proposals between national stakeholders from the scientific, academic, business, and government sectors and FUTURE4PRIMA partners.
The meeting, which took place in a hybrid format and was attended by 35 participants, fostered interaction and a spirit of collaboration that resulted in an informative and strategic dialogue, which could help shape the future framework of PRIMA.
FCT represents Portugal in PRIMA, a partnership co-financed from 2018 to 2028 by the European Union's R&I Framework Programs, which covers areas such as water management, agricultural systems, and the agri-food chain, integrating the water-energy-food-ecosystems nexus approach.
