FCT promotes four sessions within the scope of ERC and Widening

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) will promote a series of sessions, within the scope of the PERIN network, aimed at presenting the calendars for Calls 2023-2024 Work Program of the Scientific Excellence Pillar (European Research Council, Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions, Research Infrastructures) and WIDERA (Widening & ERA), as well as the respective funding opportunities and instruments.

Particular emphasis will be given to the European Research Council's 2024 Work Program (including Calls a submission deadline in 2023) and Widening Calls with a submission deadline in September 2023 (Twinning, ERA Fellowships, HOP ON, Pathways to Synergies).

• May 12, 10:00 a.m., GENERAL SESSION (Pilar I and WIDERA)
• May 23, 10:00 a.m., WIDENING SESSION (TWINNING, ERA FELLOWSHIPS, HOP ON, PATHWAYS TO SYNERGIES)
• May 31, 10:00 a.m., ERC SESSION (STARTING and CONSOLIDATOR)
• June 1, 10:00 a.m., WIDENING SESSION (TWINNING, for proposals in preparation)

The sessions are intended to provide information, as well as to encourage participation in these Calls increase success rates. To achieve this goal, further sessions will also be organized for those who are in the process of preparing proposals.

Within the PERIN network, FCT is responsible for monitoring the scientific community's participation in Pillar I and WIDERA of Horizon Europe.
