FCT will once again be present at European Researchers' Night, which will take place on September 30 (Friday). The initiative returns this year to its usual format, indoors and outdoors, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, showcasing the diversity of science and its impact on citizens' daily lives in a fun and inspiring way.

This year, 25 countries joined European Researchers' Night. In Portugal, it will take place simultaneously in the cities of Lisbon, Braga, Coimbra, and Évora. In Lisbon, the activities for this event will be spread across the National Museum of Natural History and Science (MUHNAC), the Lisbon Botanical Garden, and the Príncipe Real Garden. The FCT will be present at a stand located in the cloisters of MUHNAC, where visitors will be able to learn about the activities carried out by the FCT, as well as the services provided to society and the scientific community. This exhibition will be open from 5:00 p.m. to midnight.

European Researchers' Night (ERN) is an initiative funded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 program, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), which aims to bring researchers and citizens closer together.
