Information on the Evaluation of R&D Units 2022/2023

By decision of the Governing Board on July 20, 2022, FCT informs that the evaluation process scheduled to take place in2022/2023will be postponed for one year, with the Call applications for evaluation expected to be launched in October 2023. This postponement is based on the low execution rate for the period 2020-2023 to date, to which the global pandemic situation of the last two years has contributed. This atypical situation may also have had an impact on scientific production indicators, and it is desirable that the Units are not disadvantaged in the evaluation of the period under review.

During September 2022, FCT will provide further details on this process, which will ensure the normal functioning of institutions during 2024. The FCT team remains available to provide any necessary clarifications.
