Registration is now open for the 3rd PUB IN Meeting

The 3rd PUB IN Meeting: Journals and Scientific Communication for Open Science will take place on April 16 and 17 at the School of Nursing of the University of Coimbra – Campus A. Registration is open until April 10.

The initiative is a space for reflection, training, and sharing, aimed at the publishing community and professionals involved in scientific communication. The event program will includeworkshops,flash talks, poster presentations, and thematic panels, focusing on the presentation of experiences, best practices, and the discussion of emerging topics in the field of Open Science. The deadline for submitting proposals for flash talks and posters is February 20, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. This year, submissions are made through the Indico platform. All relevant information, including templates and guidelines, is available on the event's official website. 

This meeting seeks to strengthen technical skills, promote the circulation of knowledge, and encourage collaboration between different stakeholders, contributing to the development and innovation of national scientific journals.

PUB IN is a national initiative that promotes smart, innovative, and integrated publications. It was developed by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), through its digital services unit FCCN, in partnership with the University of Minho, and provides infrastructure (SARCandScielo) for the publication of open access scientific journals.
