Cooperation between Portugal and Germany

The scientific and technological cooperation agreement between Portugal and Germany was established in 1990.

The protocol states that the two countries establish a program to promote cooperation between teachers and researchers, including young researchers in higher education institutions and related research institutions in Portugal and Germany. The cooperation preferably takes the following forms:

• exchange of researchers within the scope of common research projects.
