Cooperation between Portugal and Brazil

The Foundation for Science and Technology has cooperation agreements with the following Brazilian scientific research support institutions in order to strengthen scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.

• São Paulo State Research Support Foundation - FAPESP
• Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support of the State of Rio de Janeiro - FAPERJ
• Higher Level Personnel Improvement Coordination Foundation - CAPES

The activities to be developed under these agreements include the funding of exchange actions for researchers (FAPERJ and CAPES) and research and development projects (FAPESP)
