Cooperation between Portugal and Israel

In 2014, Portugal and Israel signed an intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding in which both countries agreed to implement a cooperation program in the fields of science and technology. This program aims to strengthen relations between Portugal and Israel in order to foster long-term scientific cooperation.

In this vein, and with the aim of supporting and encouraging bilateral cooperation between research entities, universities, and research institutions, the FCT and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Space (MOST) support collaborative projects, seminars, scientific meetings, and other scientific cooperation activities.
