The European Joint Program (EJP), under Horizon 2020, is an initiative co-financed up to 70% by the European Commission, with the aim of supporting coordinated national research and innovation programs.
The main activity of the EJP consists of implementing a joint program of activities to achieve the common objectives of Horizon 2020, ranging from research and innovation to coordination and networking activities, including training, demonstration, and dissemination actions, support to third parties, etc.
Funding may be used to improve and expand the activities of existing coordinated programs or to create new ones, provided that they aim to achieve the objectives of a joint European transnational program established by the consortium.
