FCCN 2024 Conference: over 600 registrations, 102 speakers, and 35 sponsors

Participation in the FCCN 2024 Conference exceeded all expectations. 641 people registered for the initiative, the third highest attendance ever at the event.
Organized by FCCN, digital services of FCT – Foundation for Science and Technology, it was held in Madeira, at the Pestana Casino Park and the Madeira Congress Center, with the close support of ARDITI – Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology, and Innovation and the University of Madeira.

There were more than 30 knowledge-sharing moments, ranging from workshops to debate sessions and round tables, with the participation of 102 expert speakers. This edition saw the highest number of partner entities to date: 35, including national and international companies from the areas under discussion at the meeting: Connectivity, Computing, Collaboration, Knowledge, and Security.

The conference ended with the announcement of the date and location of the 2025 meeting. From May 6 to 8 next year, Coimbra will host the FCCN 2025 Conference.
