3rd Conference of the Permanent Forum for Digital Skills

The 3rd Conference of the Permanent Forum for Digital Skills, held under the National Digital Skills Initiative | Portugal INCoDe.2030, will take place at the Alfândega Congress Center in Porto on March 3. The event, which will feature Prime Minister António Costa in the opening session, will highlight the progress, new cycle, and new goals of the INCoDe.2030 initiative.

The program also includes the participation of the Minister of State, Economy, and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira; the Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues; the Minister of Science, Technology, and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor; Secretary of State for Digital Transition, André de Aragão Azevedo; Deputy Secretary of State for Labor and Vocational Training, Miguel Cabrita; Secretary of State for the Interior, Isabel Ferreira; and Secretary of State for Innovation and Administrative Modernization, Fátima Fonseca.

“For a more digital Portugal” is the slogan of the INCoDe.2030 initiative and conference. Under this motto, the aim is to raise awareness of new and ongoing projects, as well as ideas that promote digital skills for active citizenship, considering the five areas of action of INCoDe.2030: inclusion, education, qualification, specialization, and research.

During the conference, topics such as digital inclusion, the challenge of digital technology in education, the importance of digital skills in the qualification and retraining of the working population, and data science in public administration, among others, will also be addressed.
