3rd Conference of the Permanent Forum for Digital Competences

The 3rd Conference of the Permanent Forum for Digital Skills, held as part of the National Digital Skills Initiative | Portugal INCoDe.2030, will take place at the Alfândega do Porto Congress Center on March 3. The event, whose opening session will be attended by the Prime Minister, António Costa, will focus on presenting the progress, new cycle and new goals of the INCoDe.2030 initiative.

The program also includes the participation of the Minister of State for the Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira; the Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues; the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor; the Secretary of State for Digital Transition, André de Aragão Azevedo; the Deputy Secretary of State for Labour and Professional Training, Miguel Cabrita; the Secretary of State for Interior Development, Isabel Ferreira; and the Secretary of State for Innovation and Administrative Modernization, Fátima Fonseca.

"For a more digital Portugal" is the signature of the INCoDe.2030 initiative and the conference, and under this motto the aim is to showcase new and ongoing projects, as well as ideas that promote digital skills for active citizenship, taking into account INCoDe.2030's 5 axes of action: inclusion, education, qualification, specialization and research.

The conference will also cover topics such as digital inclusion, the challenge of digital in education, the importance of digital skills in the qualification and re-qualification of the working population, data science in public administration, among others.
