3rd Conference of the Permanent Forum for Digital Skills

The 3rd Conference of the Permanent Forum for Digital Skills, held under the National Initiative Digital Skills | Portugal INCoDe.2030, will take place at the Congress Center of Alfândega do Porto on March 3. The event, which will be attended in the opening session by the Prime Minister, António Costa, will highlight the presentation of the progress, the new cycle and new goals of the INCoDe.2030 initiative.

The program also counts with the participation of the Minister of State, Economy and Digital Transition, Pedro Siza Vieira; the Minister of Education, Tiago Brandão Rodrigues; the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor; the Secretary of State for Digital Transition, André de Aragão Azevedo; the Assistant Secretary of State, Labor and Professional Training, Miguel Cabrita; the Secretary of State for Interior Development, Isabel Ferreira; and the Secretary of State for Innovation and Administrative Modernization, Fátima Fonseca.

"For a more digital Portugal" is the signature of the INCoDe.2030 initiative and of the conference and under this motto it is intended to make known the new and ongoing projects, as well as ideas that promote digital skills for an active citizenship, considering the 5 axes of action of INCoDe.2030: inclusion, education, qualification, specialization and research.

The conference will also cover topics such as digital inclusion, the challenge of digital in education, the importance of digital skills in the qualification and requalification of the active population, data science in public administration, among others.
