I&I 2030 Agenda for Portuguese Architecture promotes Cycle of Meetings

As part of the initiative "Thematic Agendas for Research and Innovation (R&I)", promoted by FCT, the working group of the "Portuguese Architecture" agenda will hold a cycle of meetings, which will take place from north to south of the country, to discuss the topic. The first event of this cycle takes place tomorrow, November 8, from 2:30 pm at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP).

The meeting counts with the interventions of Bernardo Pinto de Almeida (FBAUP), Eduardo Souto de Moura (FAUP), Joaquim Moreno (CEAU/FAUP) and Nuno Lacerda Lopes (CEAU/FAUP), and is specially addressed to professors and researchers.

The R&I Agenda on Portuguese Architecture proposes to encourage knowledge and dissemination of the work built in Portugal and in the world by Portuguese architects, facilitating new R&D activities. Emphasis will be given to new interdisciplinary R&D activities in close articulation with the architectural, cultural, social and economic valorization of Portuguese architecture in the world, as well as with new urban revitalization processes. In this context, the agenda is elaborated from four dimensions: i) Project, ii) Construction, iii) Heritage; iv) City-landscape.
