I&I 2030 Agenda for Portuguese Architecture promotes Cycle of Meetings
As part of the "Thematic Research and Innovation (R&I) Agendas" initiative promoted by FCT, the "Portuguese Architecture" Agenda working group will hold a series of meetings across the country to discuss the topic. The first event in this series will take place tomorrow, November 8, starting at 2:30 p.m. at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP).
The meeting will feature presentations by Bernardo Pinto de Almeida (FBAUP), Eduardo Souto de Moura (FAUP), Joaquim Moreno (CEAU/FAUP), and Nuno Lacerda Lopes (CEAU/FAUP), and is aimed specifically at teachers and researchers.
The R&D Agenda on Portuguese Architecture aims to promote knowledge and dissemination of the work built in Portugal and around the world by Portuguese architects, facilitating new R&D activities. Emphasis will be placed on new interdisciplinary R&D activities closely linked to the architectural, cultural, social, and economic enhancement of Portuguese architecture around the world, as well as new urban revitalization processes. In this context, the agenda is based on four dimensions: i) Design, ii) Construction, iii) Heritage; iv) City-landscape.
