ESFRI 2018 Roadmap Update

The European Strategic Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) will update its European Roadmap for Research Infrastructures and has launched a call for projects for inclusion in the 2018 Roadmap, which is expected to be published in September 2018.

Proposals with Portuguese participation must be sent to the national delegation by June 1, 2017, and submitted to ESFRI by August 31, 2017. All proposals must be supported by at least three Member States or Associated Countries, at least one of which must express a formal financial commitment to the project. The selection of projects to be included in the roadmap will be done directly by ESFRI.

ESFRI contributes to a strategic approach to policy-making for research infrastructures in Europe. ESFRI published its first Roadmap for building and developing the next generation of pan-European research infrastructures in 2006, with updates in 2008, 2010 and 2016.
