The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), Paulo Ferrão, participated on April 18 in a parliamentary hearing at the Committee on Education and Science, requested by the Social Democratic Party (PSD).
The hearing addressed various topics related to the FCT's recent activities, including the Evaluation of Research Units, Scientific Employment, FCT Studentships , and the 2017 IC&DT Call , among others.
The Vice-President of the FCT Governing Board, Miguel Castanho, and member Isabel Ribeiro were also present at this hearing and provided clarifications on the issues raised by the deputies, in relation to their areas of responsibility.
