Hearing of the FCT President at the Education and Science Committee

The President of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), Paulo Ferrão, participated on April 18 in a parliamentary hearing in the Education and Science Committee, requested by the Social Democratic Party (PSD). 

At the hearing, several themes concerning FCT's recent activity were discussed, namely the Evaluation of Research Units, Scientific Employment, the FCT PhD Studentships and the Call of IC&DT Projects 2017, among others.

The FCT's Vice-president of the Directive Council, Miguel Castanho, and its member Isabel Ribeiro, were also present at this hearing and also provided clarifications on the issues raised by the deputies, with regard to the areas of their portfolios.
