Fulbright Research Studentships with FCT support

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Fullbright Commission have opened applications for FulbrightStudentships for Research supported by FCT, which run until January 31, 2020.

These Studentships are for the 2020/2021 academic year and last between 4 and 9 months. They are aimed at doctoral scholarship holders, directly funded by the FCT, who have planned in their training plan to carry out a period of research at a US university or research center, in any area.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a general review of the applications received and the documents attached, in accordance with the rules set out in the regulation and the application instructions, and an interview with the candidates.

The Studentships are part of the Memorandum of Understanding between the FCT and the Fullbright Commission, signed on November 23, 2016, which seeks to promote a joint program for awarding Studentships , namely the Fulbright Studentships for Research with the support of the FCT.
