Studentships for Research with the support of FCT

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the Fulbright Commission have opened applications for Studentships for Research supported by FCT, which will run until January 31, 2020.

These Studentships to the 2020/2021 Academic Year and last from 4 to 9 months. They are intended for doctoral fellows, directly funded by FCT, who have included in their training plan a period of research at a US university or research center, in any field.

Candidates will be selected based on a general review of the applications received and the documents attached, in accordance with the rules set out in the regulations and the application instructions, and on an interview with the candidates.

The Studentships within the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding between FCT and the Fulbright Commission, signed on November 23, 2016, which seeks to promote a joint program for awarding Studentships, namely Studentships for Research with the support of FCT.
