Safe Internet Center launches Radio Program

The FCT Safe Internet Center (CIS|FCT) and the Directorate-General for Education (DGE), in partnership with Antena 1 – RTP's ZigZag Online Radio, will launch the series "Zig Zaga na Net" on February 14 in the RTP auditorium.

The program consists of 30 episodes of audio content on digital citizenship and will be broadcast on ZigZag Online Radio. This new resource from CIS|FCT seeks to alert young people to the responsible use of the internet, addressing topics such as: online rights and duties; copyright; the accuracy and reliability of information (misinformation and fake news); privacy; digital footprint; online and technology addiction; safe online behavior; bullying and cyberbullying.

In addition to the mascots from the Safe Internet Center (INES) and SeguraNet (Pisca), the episodes also involve the participation of students from the Reference School for Deaf Students of the Quinta de Marrocos School Group, who translate the content into Portuguese Sign Language.
