Call for Doctoral Studentships 2020 and Call for IC&DT Projects

FCT informs that the application dates for the Call for PhD Research Studentships 2020 and the Call IC&DT Projects in all Scientific Domains have been extended to April 28, 2020 and April 30, 2020, respectively. In addition, the Deadline for submitting the declaration of commitment for the Call for Projects has also been extended to May 15, 2020.

This need for postponement stems from recent developments related to the SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 pandemic, which is affecting the work of the scientific community, as well as all other sectors of our society. In this way, FCT is trying to respond to the requests sent in by applicants, who in their presentations have expressed constraints in carrying out the processes, particularly in terms of time and access to the documentation needed to submit the applications.

We would like to remind you that this year, applications for the Call for PhD Research Studentships will be submitted through the myFCT portal, the new online system for managing the application process, evaluation and approval of Studentships. For the Call for IC&DT Projects, applications must be submitted through the FCT R&D Project Calls Portal.
