Call for Associate Laboratory Status

FCT is opening calls for proposals for Associate Laboratory status for the 2021-2030 period, as well as for possible complementary funding. This Call will award Associate Laboratory status to a maximum of 30 applications. Applications can be submitted for the renewal of existing Associate Laboratories or for the creation of new Associate Laboratories.

The granting of Associate Laboratories status and funding is intended to encourage the aggregation and organization of human and material resources of the quality and size required to respond to specific national scientific and technological policy objectives in R&D institutions or consortia of R&D institutions.

The application process will be permanently open, with a single annual evaluation period for the applications submitted. For 2020, applications submitted from September 28, 2020 until 17:00 Lisbon time on October 29, 2020 will be evaluated.
