Call for the attribution of the Statute of Associate Laboratory

FCT will open calls for proposals for the attribution of the status of Associate Laboratory for the period 2021-2030, as well as for its possible complementary funding. This Call foresees the attribution of the status of Associate Laboratory up to a maximum of 30 applications. Applications may be submitted for the renewal of existing Associate Laboratories or the creation of new Associate Laboratories.

The attribution of the status and funding to Associate Laboratories aims to encourage the aggregation and organization of human and material resources with the necessary quality and dimension to respond to the specific objectives of national scientific and technological policy in R&D institutions or consortia of R&D institutions.

The application process will be permanently open, with a single annual evaluation period for applications submitted. For the year 2020, applications submitted from September 28, 2020 until 17:00, Lisbon time, on October 29, 2020 will be evaluated.
