Calls from PRIMA's Section 1 and Section 2

The results of Calls of the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) have already been announced by the PRIMA Foundation.

In Calls Section 1, supported by funds from the H2020 Framework Program, 18 proposals were selected. Portuguese participation includes 14 entities in a total of 6 proposals. Of particular note is the TRACE-RICE proposal, selected in Call innovation actions under topic 1.3.1 of the PRIMA Research and Innovation Agenda (Implementation of analytical tools and digital technology to achieve traceability and authenticity control of traditional Mediterranean foods), coordinated by the National Institute for Agricultural and Veterinary Research (INIAV), I.P.

Under the Call forSection 2, 19 proposals were selected, with an additional 11 on the reserve list. In this Call on national contributions, FCT will support the participation of 16 entities in 11 proposals. Of particular note are the PulpIng and Nano4Fresh proposals, coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and the Higher Technical Institute of the University of Lisbon, respectively.
